Overview
Prostate brachytherapy involves placing radioactive seeds directly into the prostate gland. This allows for a high dose of radiation to be delivered to the cancer while sparing surrounding healthy tissue.
How it Works
Tiny radioactive seeds (about the size of a grain of rice) are implanted into the prostate using needles guided by ultrasound. The seeds release radiation over time to kill cancer cells.

Recovery
